Graduated from Grinnell College with a BA in Spanish and Latin American Studies. He speaks Spanish. After studying poverty in South America, he returned to the University of Michigan Law School where he earned his juris doctorate. He practiced corporate law before joining a law-related education program in Harlem, New York. In 2006, he was called to pastor a church that would later become Living Grace Worship Center. He is also a published author.
Graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a BS in economics. She earned her juris doctorate degree from Boston University School of Law. Thereafter, she practiced criminal law representing some of the poorest residents in New York City. Later, she worked for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission where she prosecuted cases of discrimination based on race, sex and age. She left the agency to work as a private litigator for a prestigious law firm in New Jersey. In 2010, she graduated from Faith International Training School located in Sayerville, New Jersey. She became co-pastor of Living Grace Worship Center in 2012.
